Paragon

I grew up loving The Rialto.
Melbourne's tallest building (at the time): sleek, shiny, blue like the dark-suited CBD, and with a curious little brother built alongside it.

In the 90's I never thought of a skyscraper as a place to live. But some time in the intervening years our city changed, and the way many of us live did too.

Unexpected too was the sense of refuge and serenity that can be created in an apartment in the sky. PARAGON is a new film created for Fender Katsalidis and BEULAH. It threw up a lot of insights like these, feelings I set out to capture through motion and sound.
